Crafting By Designs Challenge

Hi! I am participating in the Crafting By Designs Nicecrane Challenge today!

Nicecrane Designs was kind enough to provide the Design Team with some digi images to play with and they are stunning! I used an image from the Notes of an Edwardian Lady.

I die cut a little spot at the bottom for a sentiment and I wrapped some twine around the top and adhered with my tiny attacher.

Isn't the image just beautiful?

Now, pop on over to the  Crafting By Designs blog to see the other projects and for a chance to win some Nicecrane digis!

Crafting By Designs Blog Skip

Welcome to the Crafting by Designs Skip! If you've arrived from Beth's blog, you are on the right track!

The theme is 'Seasons' and my favorite season is Fall (in case you couldn't tell from my blog name!).  I used some Paper Smooches stamps along with some background stamps from SP & Company to create this card.

I colored everything in with Spectrum Noir Markers and the dies I used were Spellbinders.

...Inspired by Pinterest

Hi!
I'm running a super fun challenge over at the Crafting By Designs site today.  It's an Inspired by Pinterest challenge!

Here is the image that I was inspired by:

I love pink and gray together! So, I inked up some new Avocado Arts stamps that I just got my hot little hands on last week and went to town!

I stamped the large flowers first, then went in with the leaves and centers.  For a little extra flair, I ran the finished front through my Cuttlebug and embossed it with my wood Papertrey Ink embossing plate.

If you want to play along, stop by the CBD site.  It is a fantastic, laid-back amazing group of people with lots of fun challenges and great inspiration.

Crafting By Designs - Get Ready for Christmas!

Hi!
I know what you're thinking - it's only May!!! You're right, but over at Crafting by Designs, we like to make sure you manage your time wisely.  So, the Design Team is hosting a challenge each month to help you get a jump start on your Christmas cards.  That way, when the holidays actually hit, you will be way ahead of the game!!!! I'm hosting the challenge this week and this is what I came up with:

I decided to stamp on canvas.  I really like the vintage look of this technique.  I colored in the image of the tree with Copic markers and I inked the edges with some Papertrey Ink ink.  I used some Studio Calico Spray Mist on the patterned paper.  It's clean, simple and fun.

Pop on over and play along with the challenge at CBD - we'd love to have you!!!

Crafting by Designs Monochromatic Challenge

Today I am hosting the Monochromatic Challenge over at Crafting By Designs! I'd be lying if I said this one was easy for me.  I must have changed the colors (and stamps that I was using) at least 3 times before settling on this one.  I just couldn't find papers that I thought looked good together.  Oh, and I'm really indecisive, too. :-)

I stamped the flower with a Hero Arts stamp, cut it out and added Stickles to it for an extra pop.  I placed in onto a pre-made frame by Prima and a simple die cut I made using Spellbinders dies.  For the base, I painted some pink paint, sprayed it with Studio Calico mist and I then placed Washi tape on it.

Even though I really struggled with starting this one, I have to say I love the result!

Now, let's see what you come up with for this week's Monochromatic Challenge! Head on over to the Crafting By Designs site to participate!!!
