Party Time Tuesdays!

I stamped that beautiful butterfly in Staz On Jet Black Midi ink from Stamp It Australia: Take Flight onto watercolor paper and colored it in with my Spectrum Aquas Yellow, Blossom, Sea Green, and Aquamarine. The sentiment is from Sentimentals: Greetings.

I wanted to add something extra, so I die cut some paper from the Sweet Treats 11x17 Paper Pack using the Bebunni Floral Dies: Cottage Lace and added it to the top of the card. It's also on the card base, too. I think it really pulls everything together!

Spectrum Aqua Markers Tutorial

Hi!
Today I'd like to share a video I created to show you how you can create a fabulous watercolor effect using the Spectrum Aqua markers.  I used Sheena's A Little Bit Sketchy: Autumn Leaves along with Sentimentals Vintage Floral Collection: Greetings.

Because I used water on the card panel, I stamped everything in Staz On Jet Midi Black ink.  This ink is perfect when using water.

I used Spectrum Aqua colors:

Essentials: Moss

Primary: Yellow, Aquamarine

Floral: Bud Green, Green Leaf

I added a little detail with the Spectrum Noir Blendable pencil 047.

Crafter's Companion January Challenge

Hi!

Have you played along in the Crafter's Companion January Challenge yet? The theme is Vintage/Shabby Chic.  This one was tough for me since I don't really 'do' the shabby style that much.  But, after a few sketches and tries, I like the finished card!

I used Die'Sire Dies: Delicate Flower, Chantilly Lace Stamping Frame, and Rectangles.  For the sentiment, I used Sentimentals: Vintage and used Distress Inks: Vintage Photo, Victorian Velvet.

Love You To the Moon and Back!

Hi! Today I'm sharing a card I created using some new (amazing) Die'Sire dies from Crafter's Companion!

I used the Die'Sire Essentials Stars Die along with the eBrush. Spectrum Noir Markers: TB1, TB3 were used for the background. I used Distress Ink: Squeezed Lemonade to color in the stars.  I stamped the Sentimentals: Love is all you need in Tuxedo Black ink.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas! I wanted to share a Christmas card with you today!

To create this simple card, I used my eBrush system along with Spectrum Noir Markers: BT3, BT4.  The sentiment is from Sentimentals: Mistletoe Kisses.  And that die - oh how I love it! It's a Die'Sire Classiques Christmas Die called Scenic Pines.

Crafter's Companion November Challenge

Hi! Today I'm sharing a card I created for the current Crafter's Companion Challenge! The theme this month is Christmas/Winter.

Create a card or project with a Christmas or Winter theme - the focal image, as an embellishment, on your patterned paper - any way you want!

*New: you may use ANY products you want to enter our challenge and be eligible for the £30/$30 gift certificate.

For my creation, I used Sentimentals: Mistletoe Kisses along with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and Delicata Golden Glitz Ink.  I partially embossed the background using Embossing Folder: Sheena's India Ornamentals and then I sprayed over it with the eBrush and Spectrum Noir Markers: JG2, DR2, DR5.

Distress Inks Background!

Hi!
I created this beauty using Crafter's Companion Stamp It: Take Flight and Sentimentals: Greetings.  To make that background, I used some Distress Inks.  I inked up a non stick craft mat, spritzed it with water and then placed the stamped panel onto the inks.

Picked Raspberry
Salty Ocean
Peeled Paint
Barn Door
Spiced Marmalade

Vintage Christmas

Hi! The Sentimentals Vintage Christmas Release from Crafter's Companion will be available later today!!! Woo hoo! 

For this fun card, I used Vintage Christmas: Home for Christmas along with Dee Gruenig: Ahhh... Christmas
and Dee Gruenig: Jolly Holly sets.  The holly and ornament were colored in with some Marvy markers and spritzed with water to give a watercolor-ish effect.

I added a little Distress Ink: Squeezed Lemonade to the edges to give it a little extra pop!

Vintage Christmas Sneak Peek!

Hi! I want to share a Christmas card I created! YEP! It's Christmas in July!!! :)

The sweet sentiment is from Crafter's Companion's Sentimentals Vintage Christmas upcoming release. This particular sentiment is from the Mistletoe Christmas set.

For the tree, I used the Sentimentals: Mistletoe Kisses and colored it in using Maarvy LePlume stamp markers.

A Die'sire lace border was used to create the ruffle.

Crafter's Companion July Challenge

Hi!
The monthly Challenge is going on for Crafter's Companion.  The theme this month is sentiments!!!

To create this sentiment based card, I used Vintage Floral Sentimentals Collection: Greetings in Memento Radiant Electric Yellow and Memento Tuxedo Black.  Very simple, but it gets the point across.

To liven things up, I added some splatters and sequins.
