All You Need....

Hi,

I created a sweet card with SP & Company's Teddy Bear Hugs stamp set, which is part of the Gill Roberts collection.  I colored them in with my Spectrum Noir markers.

I made the teddy bear purple, at my daughter's request.  I also liked the contrast of the purple with the red and yellow on the card.  The heart dies are from Simon Says Stamp and that sentiment is from my set, Winter Pocket Fillers.

I am entering this card in the current Simon Says Stamp Challenge, Happy Mail.

Thanks for stopping by today!!!

Thanks... For Being You!

Hi!
I've got a card to share that made me go out of my comfort zone.  I went with colors I don't normally use and I mixed patterns together!

I am just loving that Tiny Build A Banner set.  I use it on almost everything these days.  I also added into the background Chevron Chase using some Versamark watermark ink.

I stamped and cut out the notepad from Winter Pocket Fillers and added a flower from Poppy Field Summer and sentiment from For Every Woman.  I finished it all off with some patterned paper and washi tape.

Non Traditional Christmas Colors

Hi!
Today I have a Christmas card that I think is really unique.  I used non-traditional Christmas colors.  I love the color combo of red and turquoise together and I LOVE seeing it in Christmas papers!

I thought it would be fun to color in the candy canes from Winter Pocket Fillers with turquoise instead of the normal red.  I've seen different colored candy canes in the store, so why not, right? I also used the "Christmas Wish List" sentiment and note card from the same set.  Then I added in the herringbone heart from Artsy Heartsy along with some patterns from Chevron Chase.

I also added in some banners from the new Tiny Build A Banner along with a sentiment from the Cutest Gingerbread Man set.  The papers are from Carta Bella's Merry & Bright collection, which I just can't get enough of these days!

I just love the mix of the different patterns, how about you? Thanks for stopping by today!

Happy Thanksgiving... and a few more cards!

Hi!
I wanted to share three cards that I created using previously released stamp sets from SP & Company.

All of the stamps in the above card come from my Winter Pocket Fillers set.  I thought it would be really fun to mix and match different patterns.  I just love the sentiment!

I created this one in honor of Thanksgiving.  I always think that it gets lost between Halloween and Christmas, so I love the fact that the Falling in Love with Autumn set has a little Thanksgiving love on it!

For this card, I used papers and a brad from Merry & Bright.  I masked off the image (from the Winter Pocket Fillers set) with a Post It note and then scored it after it was colored in using my scoreboard.  I love the finished piece.

I hope you have an amazing week!

Tiny Ornaments

Hi!
I'm excited to share a little card I created using SP & Company stamps!

I was out of the box with this one! I used the circles from the Tiny Build A Banner set as ornaments and paired it with lines from Stitchery Doo and a sentiment (and snowflakes) from Winter Pocket Fillers.

The paper is from Carta Bella's Merry & Bright collection, which has quickly taken over my holiday creations.  I adore the colors in that collection!

I used a Q-Tip to brush some blue around the ornaments to give them a glow.  This is simple and fun technique.  It just gives a little something extra to the card.

Thanks for stopping by today!

And stay tuned... We are planning something new and super fun at SP & Company that will launch in early January! Details to hit in just a few weeks, so keep en eye out!

Thanksgiving Project

Hi! Today I have a fun Thanksgiving Project! I made multiple place cards so I'm ready for our Turkey Day dinner (it's less than a month away!!!). I made these assembly line style, which really made this go fast. I used images from my Falling for Autumn set.

Because I knew that I would be cutting the pumpkins out, I colored them messily.  I used the large end of my marker to save some time and then went back in with the smaller end for the details.

I cut a mask out of a Post It and stamped the leaves on the side of the card.  Then I colored them in.  I like the subtle look of the colors on the Kraft.

Finally, I used my scoreboard to add the embossed line on the top and side of the card.  I attached the pumpkin using foam adhesive and I stamped the hearts from Winter Pocket Fillers.

Once we know who is coming to our little Thanksgiving soiree, I will add the names in.  In fact, there is a PERFECT SP set coming out  November 10 for this step.  You are going to love it!!!!

Boo! Tag

Hi! Today I'm still in Halloween mode and I have a fun little card that I whipped up using the heart image from Winter Pocket Fillers and a few other images from Falling for Autumn.

I stamped the heart on patterned paper and added the little spider in the middle.  Then I grouped it with some extra buttons and embellishments in the corner.  The main tag was cut from a Spellbinders die.

I love making custom treats for Halloween, and these tags are super easy to made in bulk! Thanks for stopping by and pop back every day this week - we will be sharing more Halloween inspiration every day!

Boo to You!

Today I have a card for Halloween Week!!! I just looovvveee Halloween! I combined stamps from Winter Pocket Fillers and Falling for Autumn.

How fun is that mini notepad? I turned it into a tag by simply adding an eyelet and some twine.  I thought it would be really cute to have a mini spider hanging from the corner

The owl is my homage to Harry Potter! I just drew in that lightning bolt.  I'm a HP freak so I thought it would be a fun little touch.  I colored everything in with alcohol markers and I stamped the hat onto patterned paper.

Remember that those glasses and owl are perfect for a teacher card, too - this set isn't strictly Halloween!

All You Need....

Hi! Today I'm excited to show you a card I created using my newest set, Winter Pocket Fillers that was just released yesterday!!! This set is perfect for all winter holidays (including Valentine's Day) and coordinates perfectly with my All Zipped Up set.  But... even if you don't have All Zipped Up, you can still use this set as a stand-alone!

Here is what the new set looks like:

And here is my card I created with this new set:

The large heart is from Artsy Heartsy, but everything else is from the new Winter Pocket Fillers set! The stock I chose is actually from a Christmas set, Carta Bella's Merry & Bright, but it works as Valentine's paper, too.

If you haven't participated in our blog hop yet, you still have plenty of time! Details can be found HERE, on Sami's blog!

Onto my first card! I used the pocket from All Zipped Up along with the Winter Pocket Fillers set, which is brand-spanking new and was just released TODAY!

For the candy canes, I stamped them and colored them in (Spectrum Noir markers) and then I added some glue and super fine glitter to them.  After the glue dried, I just tucked them into the pocket.  The "you" is from my Falling for Autumn set that came out last month.  I just inked up the "you" instead of the entire sentiment.

For my next card, I focused on the Valentine's sentiments and images from the set.  That little heart is perfect inside the pocket or standing alone.  I inked the background of the die cut lightly with Chevron Chase in a tea colored in, just to tone the white down a little bit.  If you click on the picture, it will enlarge and you will be able to see it more.

Make sure you check out the SP Blog to see what Samantha did with the new stamps! And don't forget to hop around to each Design Team Member's blog - there are brand new projects with the stamps that came out TODAY to inspire you!
